Apologies for the poor quality of some of these images. That’s what happens when you’re working with microfiche copies of old issues of the Mercury-News at the San Jose library. Despite best efforts at cleanup in Photoshop, this is as good as it’s gonna get, folks. I still thought these old adverts were worth sharing, a veritable time capsule of our old neighborhood.
